Summer 2017

Summer is the sweet time of year, with thunderstorms, heat waves, and lots of outdoor fun to be had! However, we know that without the structure of school, students often struggle to find healthy ways to spend their summer. Our team worked hard this year to provide ample opportunities for young people in Citrus County to have fun, take healthy risks, and stay safe over the summer. We kicked it off with the annual Rock the Park event by Tobacco Free Florida, visited Camp Good Spirit Foundation, helped run Camp RISE with the Citrus County Street Team, connected with our SRMI Summer group, hosted our first ever iMatter Teen Conference, participated in two football camps, and got to help at the National Dance Day Zumbathon! Ms. Victoria also kept up with our group at Eckerd’s Camp E-Nini-Hassee, delivering our full high school program to a special & spirited group of ladies.

Summer 2017 was a success! Looking forward to a fresh new school year, and seeing you all very soon.
